Patent court

A patent court is a court specializing in patent law, or one holding substantially exclusive jurisdiction over patent law issues, and some patent courts also handle related intellectual property matters such as copyright and trademark disputes. Examples include the Unified Patent Court serving the European Union, the Federal Patent Court of Germany, the Intellectual Property High Court of Japan, the Federal Patent Court of Switzerland, the Patents Court and Intellectual Property Enterprise Court of the United Kingdom, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
