All Supreme and Highest Courts of Last Resort

A jurisdiction's final court of appeal, the court whose ruling on a matter cannot itself be appealed further within the domestic system. Belongs here: Supreme Court of Canada, Supreme Court of India, Supreme Court of Israel, Supreme Court of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, United States Supreme Court and High Court of Australia, Australia's highest court despite its name. Does not belong here: a court named "Supreme Court" that is not in fact a jurisdiction's highest court, such as the Supreme Court of the State of New York, a trial court by function, grouped under trial and first-instance courts instead; or a court whose primary function is constitutional review rather than general final appeal, grouped under constitutional courts.
