Soviet Socialist Law

Socialist law as a general family and the legal system of the Soviet Union, the model that other socialist states adopted, with party leadership, state ownership and codes built on Soviet patterns. A legal system belongs here when its cited article describes socialist law in general or the law of the USSR. It excludes the law of other socialist states, which sit in the group for Asia and Cuba. Post-Soviet states that dropped the model sit with the civil law groups.
