Byzantine Legal Compilations

Legal compilations of the Eastern Roman Empire after Justinian, written in Greek, which restated the Corpus Juris for a Greek-speaking state: the Ecloga of the Isaurian emperors and the Basilika of the Macedonian dynasty. A code belongs here when its cited article describes a Byzantine law book in Greek. It excludes the Latin Justinianic compilations and the Slavic legal books that borrowed from Byzantine law.
