Courts and tribunals whose authority and procedure derive from a religious legal tradition rather than a secular constitution or code. Belongs here: Muslim Arbitration Tribunal, Rabbinical Courts of Israel, Sharia Courts of Saudi Arabia and Tribunal of the Roman Rota. Does not belong here: a secular court that happens to sit in a jurisdiction whose broader legal system is religious in origin; the test is the court's own source of authority, not the country it sits in.
