Constitutions of Council of Europe Member States

The Council of Europe is an international organisation whose Wikipedia article states it aims to uphold human rights, democracy and the rule of law across 46 European member states, and that Russia became the first country expelled from the Council following its 2022 invasion of Ukraine. This group covers the member states listed here that carry a separate constitution entity in this atlas and are not already grouped under this atlas' own Constitutions of European Union Member States or Constitutions of European Free Trade Association Member States classes: Albania, Andorra, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, San Marino, Serbia, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. Each member state listed under this group is grouped here because its own currently governing constitution belongs to one of the Council's 46 member states named in that article, a defined and closed intergovernmental membership rather than a broader continental grouping; Russia and Belarus are not placed here, Russia because the article states it was expelled in 2022 and Belarus because it has never been a Council member. Each member placed under this group carries its own separate citation for the specific fact that its country belongs to the Council of Europe.
