John Douglas Armour was a Canadian lawyer and judge born May 4, 1830 in Otonabee, Upper Canada, who practiced law in Cobourg for twenty-five years before serving on Ontario's courts, including as Chief Justice of Ontario from 1900 to 1902. Appointed by Prime Minister Wilfrid Laurier, he served as a puisne justice of the Supreme Court of Canada beginning in November 1902 but sat for only two sessions before his death on July 11, 1903 in London, England.
