Roy Lindsay Kellock (1893-1975) was a Canadian jurist and Puisne Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, born in Perth, Ontario, who graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1915, was called to the bar in 1920, and practiced with the Toronto firm WeirFoulds. He joined the Court of Appeal for Ontario in 1942 and was appointed to the Supreme Court of Canada on October 3, 1944, serving until January 15, 1958; during his tenure he chaired the Royal Commission investigating the 1945 Halifax VE Day riots and co-chaired the Royal Commission on Spying Activities that followed the 1946 Gouzenko Affair. He was later Chancellor of McMaster University from 1955 to 1960 and was appointed a Companion of the Order of Canada in 1970.
