Wallace Nesbitt (1858-1930) was a Canadian lawyer born in Woodstock, Canada West, who trained at Osgoode Hall and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1881. Prime Minister Wilfrid Laurier appointed him a puisne justice of the Supreme Court of Canada in 1903, a post from which he resigned after only two years, in 1905. He went on to lead the legal profession's own organizations, serving as president of the Ontario Bar Association from 1923 to 1927 and as national president of the Canadian Bar Association from 1928 to 1929.
