Lawrence T. Pennell (1914 to 2008) was a Canadian lawyer, politician and judge. He was elected to the House of Commons as the member of Parliament for Brant to Haldimand, serving from 1962 to 1968, and served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance from 1964 to 1965. Prime Minister Lester Pearson appointed him Solicitor General of Canada, an office he held from 1965 to 1968. He was then appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of Ontario, serving from 1968 to 1985, and later served as chancellor of McMaster University from 1971 to 1977.
