James Wilfred Estey (1889-1956) was a Canadian lawyer, politician and jurist who served in Saskatchewan's Legislative Assembly as a Liberal from 1934 to 1944, holding the portfolios of Minister of Education and later Attorney General until the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation took power in 1944. Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King appointed him to the Supreme Court of Canada on October 6, 1944, at age 54, making him the second Saskatchewan-born judge on the court, and he served as a Puisne Justice until his death on January 22, 1956. His son, Willard Estey, later also became a Supreme Court of Canada justice.
