Justice Ben Duala Ekoko lived from December 15, 1949 to June 7, 2009 and was a Cameroonian jurist who served as Attorney General of the Southwest Region of Cameroon from 2001 to 2004, and afterward as one of the Inspector Generals at the Inspectorate of Judicial Services in Cameroon's Ministry of Justice until his death. He trained at the Cameroonian School of Administration and Magistracy and began his judicial career as Deputy State Counsel in Kumba, later serving as President of the Court of First Instance in Limbe and then Kumba, President of the High Court of Kumba from 1994, and President of the High Court Fako in Buea from 2000, before his appointment as Attorney General of the Southwest Region.
