The Code of Ordinances of the Àneu Valleys, known in Catalan as the Còdex d'Ordinacions de les Valls d'Àneu, is a body of legal provisions drafted between 1337 and 1424 in the Vall d'Àneu, in the Catalan Pyrenees, during the time of the Kingdom of Aragon. It is notable as the first legal text in Europe to address the persecution of witchcraft specifically, which makes it an important record of how medieval legislation approached that phenomenon. Drafted across nearly a century, it gives insight into medieval legislation on witchcraft in a remote Pyrenean valley.
