Adud al-Din al-Iji, in full Abu al-Fadl Adud al-Din Abd al-Rahman ibn Ahmad al-Iji, was a fourteenth-century Islamic scholar of the Ilkhanate period. He served as an influential judge and Shafii jurist as well as a legal theoretician, linguist, and rhetorician, and is considered the leading Asharite theologian of his time, active at the Ilkhanate court in Tabriz and Sultaniyya and later as chief judge in Shiraz.
