Anders Vilhelm Lundstedt was a Swedish legal scholar and parliamentarian, born in 1882 and dying in 1955, and a leading figure of Scandinavian Legal Realism. Educated at Lund University, he taught law at Uppsala University from 1914 to 1947 and was strongly influenced by the philosopher Axel Hagerstrom, rejecting metaphysical notions of rights in favor of grounding law in the objective analysis of social welfare. He also served in the Swedish parliament, where he pushed for penal reform and other liberal legislative changes.
