Anders Vilhelm Lundstedt was a Swedish legal scholar and parliamentarian, born in 1882 and dying in 1955, and a leading figure of Scandinavian Legal Realism. Educated at Lund University, he taught law at Uppsala University from 1914 to 1947 and was strongly influenced by the philosopher Axel Hägerström, rejecting metaphysical notions of rights in favor of grounding law in the objective analysis of social welfare. He also served in the Swedish parliament, where he pushed for penal reform and other liberal legislative changes.

What did Vilhelm Lundstedt mean by attacking the method of justice?
He argued justice has no objective definition and that law should follow an objective method of social welfare.
Lundstedt's main focus in his theoretical work became a sustained attack on what he called the method of justice. He held that there was no objective way to define the requirements of justice, and that appeals to justice cloaked purely subjective preferences or unacceptable metaphysical claims. In its place he proposed a method of social welfare, centred on objective study of social conditions and of what law can practically do to improve society for all its members.
