Reine Adelaide Sophie Alapini-Gansou, born 11 August 1956 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, is a Beninese jurist admitted to the Benin Bar in 1986 who has taught criminal law at the University of Abomey-Calavi since 2001. She chaired the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights from 2009 to 2012 and worked extensively on human rights initiatives across Africa, and was appointed a judge at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in 2011. She has been a judge of the International Criminal Court since 11 March 2018, and became the Court's Second Vice-President on 11 March 2024.
