Epitacio Lindolfo da Silva Pessoa (1865 to 1942) was a Brazilian statesman and legal scholar born in Umbuzeiro, Paraiba. He served as the eleventh president of Brazil from 1919 to 1922, having earlier held office as Minister of Justice, a justice of the Supreme Federal Court, Attorney General, a federal deputy and a three term senator for Paraiba. He led Brazil's delegation to the Treaty of Versailles negotiations and afterward served as a judge of the Permanent Court of International Justice from 1923 to 1930.
