Muhammad Zafrulla Khan

Sir Muhammad Zafrulla Khan, who lived from February 6, 1893, to September 1, 1985, was a Pakistani jurist, diplomat and independence-era political figure who represented the Muslim League before the Radcliffe Commission during the partition of British India. He served as Pakistan's first foreign minister from December 27, 1947, to October 24, 1954, and later as Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 1961 to 1964. He presided over the United Nations General Assembly during its 1961 to 1962 session, making him the only person to have served as both president of the UN General Assembly and president of the International Court of Justice. He served as a judge of the International Court of Justice from 1954 to 1961 and again from 1964 to 1973, presiding over the court as its president from 1970 to 1973, the only Pakistani to have done so.
