Philadelpho Jose de Barros e Azevedo, who lived from March 13, 1894, to May 7, 1951, was a Brazilian lawyer who taught civil law as a professor at the Faculdade Nacional de Direito beginning in 1937 and served as a justice of Brazil's Supreme Court from 1942, having earlier worked as a prosecutor and on various government committees. He served as a judge of the International Court of Justice from 1946 until his death in 1951, becoming the first judge in the court's history to die before the end of his term, and was succeeded on the court by fellow Brazilian jurist Levi Carneiro.
