Frida Maria Armas Pfirter

Frida Maria Armas Pfirter is an Argentine jurist who has served as a judge of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea since 2023. A professor of public international law for three decades at Argentine universities including the University of Buenos Aires, she has served as a conciliator and arbitrator under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea since 2009 and has authored three books and more than 200 publications on maritime law and ocean policy.
