Ida Caracciolo is an Italian jurist who has served as a judge of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea since 2020. A professor of international law at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, she worked for more than 25 years as a legal expert for Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, taking part in maritime boundary negotiations and representing Italy before the International Court of Justice. She has published on the law of the sea, human rights and nuclear non-proliferation.
