Manuel E. Ventura Robles is a Costa Rican jurist who served as a judge of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights from 2004, elected by acclamation to a second term in 2009 and serving as the court's vice president from 2012 to 2013. Before his election to the bench he served the court for many years as an official, holding the post of Secretary of the Inter-American Court from 1990 to 2003 after an earlier term as Deputy Secretary from 1979 to 1989.
