Claude Jorda, born 16 February 1938 in Bone, Algeria, is a French jurist who became a judge of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in January 1994 and served as its President from November 1999 to February 2003. Nominated by France, he was appointed by the Assembly of States Parties as a judge of the International Criminal Court, serving from March 2003 until his resignation in August 2007 for reasons of permanent ill-health; he was succeeded on the Court by Fumiko Saiga.
