Vlach law refers to the traditional Romanian common law, along with various special laws and privileges enforced upon or enjoyed by pastoralist communities of Romanian stock, in European states of the late Middle Ages and early modern period. It applied in the Romanian polities of Moldavia and Wallachia as well as in the Kingdom of Hungary, the Kingdom of Poland, the Kingdom of Serbia and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
