Penal codes of Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Macau and the Philippines, drawn from German, French, Dutch and Spanish models and revised in the twentieth century. A code belongs here when its cited article describes a penal code of an East or Southeast Asian state or territory. It excludes the Indian Penal Code family, whose Singapore and Malaysia codes sit in their own group. Several of these codes were first drafted by foreign advisers, which is why the German, French and Spanish parents are mentioned in the articles that place an entry here.
