Constitutional Court of Angola

The Constitutional Court of Angola is one of the High Courts of the Republic of Angola, the others being the Supreme Court, the Court of Auditors and the Supreme Military Court. It is in general responsible for the administration of justice in legal and constitutional matters under the Constitution and the law. The Constitution also gives it duties around the presidency: the President of the Republic elect is inaugurated by the President of the Constitutional Court, the court hears and rules on the procedures for removing a President from office, and it verifies and declares a vacancy and the cases of permanent inability to serve.
