Civil and family codes of Russia, Ukraine and the Baltic states, from the Soviet civil code of 1922 to the codes adopted after independence, which keep a socialist or German-influenced structure. A code belongs here when its cited article describes a civil or family code of the Soviet Union or of a post-Soviet state. It excludes the German-language and Latin codes that influenced them. Readers should expect the family law of these states to sit in a code of its own in several cases, and such a family code belongs here too.
