Communications and Telecommunications Regulation

Statutes that create and govern the American communications regulator and the telephone, broadcast and cable industries: the Communications Act of 1934 and the Telecommunications Act of 1996. A regulation belongs here when its cited article describes it as a law on communications networks or broadcasting. It excludes administrative procedure and land title statutes. The two acts are seventy years apart, and the group admits both because the later act amended and rebuilt the earlier one.
